Why CNG?

advantage of cng

CNG or Compressed Natural Gas is also called Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). It is the cleanest transportation fuel available today. It is the most feasible alternatives to traditional fuel such as petrol. CNG is very low in pollutants, high in heat yield and calorific value and most economical. In India, it is abundantly present and can significantly reduce our dependency on foreign energy sources while improving air quality.

Reasons for switching over to CNG:

Economic Benefit: In terms of calorific value, the cost of CNG is almost a third of the cost of Petrol, resulting in great saving in fuel cost, and the investment on the CNG kit is recovered in a very short period.

Environment Friendly: The use of CNG cuts down vehicular exhaust emissions significantly. Hydrocarbon emissions are reduced by 40% to 60% and Carbon Monoxide emissions are reduced by 70% to 90% as compared to vehicles that use Petrol. Carbon Dioxide emissions are also reduced considerably by 10%

Ease of Use: Cars fitted with CNG conversion kit retain the original basic engine characteristics. Therefore, vehicle is capable of running either on CNG or Petrol at the turn of a switch.

100% Income Tax Depreciation: Corporate and Business firms can claim 100% depreciation in tax on CNG Conversion Kit as this is a pollution controlling equipment.
